Is this the loving Jesus you worship? When he said this, was he no better than Hitler or Hussein or Bin Laden? What are Christians worshipping here? Is Jesus a madman?

Cricket, I did read it. It is saying that you should give up all your money and riches and prepare for the Lord to come and when the Lord comes he will kill your enemies before you!
This is not about loving your enemies, this is about giving up all your possessions. This Jesus seems a hypocrit to me, saying in one breath to love your enemies and in another that he will slay them before us! That is ludicrous!
Homelessness is what he is advocating and if you have ever been there, there is no respect for one another there. There is no place to put your stuff. Have you given up all of your riches? I have never met a "Christian" who was dumb enough to do that! Have you? Have you given up all your worldly possessions? If you have not, send them to me!
Jesus advocated that because he was lazy. He wanted to talk his way out of things, perhaps he had physical disabilities that made it painful for him to work and provide something valuable to society unless he mouthed off!

Then, Jim B, Jesus in the same parable tells disciples to go and steal a colt in the name of the "Lord"! This guy is a thief too! This is totally unacceptable behavior in our world!

Jim B. And who is this Lord that hath need? Don't Christians proclaim Jesus as Lord?
If so, then Jesus basically, in some sick-mindedness away from civility, says to give up all your riches, he will kill your enemies and steal him transportation?
Correct me, pure one, if I am wrong!
I like healing. I am a Forgive Affirmed Spirit and I am all for healing! I love that Jesus at times in his life was also for that! I like loving my enemies the best I can too! That does not include killing them or "slaying" them!
Killing is for a mad man, a man gone crazy! Drugs do this to people as to mental disorders!

Perhaps you should read that whole passage. It was a PARABLE, the parable of the ten minas. Read the whole thing, here, starting with verse 11:
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2019%20;&version=31;
parable:
1. a short allegorical story designed to illustrate or teach some truth, religious principle, or moral lesson.
2. a statement or comment that conveys a meaning indirectly by the use of comparison, analogy, or the like.
Jesus was NOT speaking for Himself in that passage. Next time you want to know what a verse means, perhaps it would be a good idea to read the verses AROUND it. WHY do people think they can take ONE LINE from the Bible, when they wouldn't do that with ANY other book?!

Quote the rest of this parable. The ones being killed had assalted his messangers, taken over his property and killed the vineyard owner's son. Besides if I knew this was going to happen, I wouldn't condemn it, but rather switch to the side where it didn't happen to me. But if you know and stay on that side where it does happen to you then blame yourself.
If you want a misquote how about these:
One scripture verse says Judas went out and hung himself and another verse says you go do likewise. But nowhere in the Bible does it tell us to do that when rightly interpreted.
About the colt, didn't He say to tell the owner, "The Lord has need..." Where do you get stealing from that.

Christ preached the Kingdom of Heavens and held it out as mankind's hope. The healing and resurrection miracles were done to provide the believers with proof of what the kingdom of God would accomplish globally.
Dan 2:44,45 shows that the kingdom of God shall destroy all present day kingdoms and all unbelievers (John 3:16-18). Dan 7 shows that Christ and the Saints shall reign over all the nations as kings and priests.
Several other scriptures show that this reign will erase all illness, all death, and make the earth into a Paradise. FOR THE BELIEVERS ONLY.
This is God's will. Satan shall be imprisoned for a thousand years and then destroyed after a little liberty.
The preaching work going on now is done by the will of God so as to save as many as possible from destruction. Only believers, Christians, will be saved -- there is no buts about it.
All of us thus make vital decisions. As Jesus said, he that doesn't gather with me scatters. He that is not for me is against me. (paraphrased)
Who are we for? Our decision will mean life or death for us.

Lord, here we go again
Could you please read the whole chapter or book before we pull out just a scripture here and a scripture there, it makes for a better understanding of things
Edit:
Parabel:1. a short allegorical story designed to convey a truth or moral lesson. 2. a statement or comment that conveys a menaing indirectly by the use of comparison.
Now lets break down the word allegorcial (which is allegory)
Allegory:1. A representation of an abstract or spiritual meaning through concrete or material forms; figurative treatment of one subject under the guise of another. 2. a symbolic narrative.
{Ramdom House Dictionary, College Edition}
Now that we have the meaning of a parable out of the way, so that maybe you could see exactly how Jesus taught, lets break down the verse, NO Chapter of Luke 19:1-27. after all you did skip verse 1-26 and went straight to 19:27.
Luke 19:1-27 deals with a Tax Collector who goes by the name of Zacchaeus, who was well know in the village. (But wait, I need to add that he was the Chief Tax Collector). Now, Zacc{for short} wanted to see Jesus but the crowd was vast and poor Zacc was a short man, so he climbed up a fig tree to get a better look of Jesus. As Jesus came under the tree, He stopped and looked up and told Zacc to come down for he was to grace his house that night. Upon hearing this, the crowd of villiagers got mad and stated to Jesus that the house he was to stay in was a house of a sinner. Zacc then told Jesus that he would give half of his belongings to the poor and those that he cheated, he would pay them back 4 times the amount that he took in. Jesus then said, "Salvation will be upon this house."
Now we get to the Parable of 10 Minas {lets break down Minas: it is about 3 months of wages, OK back to the story}
Jesus was close to Jerusalem, and those in Jerusalem were expecting the Kingdom of God to appear at once. Jesus knew when he got to Jerusalem there would be those who would welcome him as well as those who would oppose him. There were those in Jerusalem who followed the Lords word and honored him daily as well as those who only taught the Lords word when it suited them, and kept the Lords word under lock and key. Now this was done to keep people under thumb {so to speak, and this was done by the Pharise's, Pharaoh's, Kings and so on} so that if you had a question you came to one of the head people to know and they in turn told you what they wanted you to know.
Now in this story Jesus spoke of 10 people who were to take 10 Minas and put them to work {which means, to make more money off of the money they where given} those who made money depending on the turns they made would determine the # of cities they would be over. One man took his money he was given and hid it so that when the when the King returned he would get the same exact amount and he would lose nothing. In this. the King asked the man why he did this and the man replied, "You are a hard man, you take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow." So the King said, I will judge you by your own words and stated why did you not put my money in a deposit so that when I returned I could have collected the intrest?. So the King took his Mina away from him and gave it to the one who had the most { who made the most money} in doing this, the others stated, why give it to this man when he has 10 minas, the King replied, "I tell you that everyone who has, more will be given, but for the one who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away. But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be King over them-bring them here and kill them in front of me."
Let's break down your verse you are pondering over, Now to this day Kings, Dictators {and so on} take out those who oppose them, for example take a look at Iraq or Cuba, they have done this and continue to do so to this day. Now I suppose you think that Jesus told this story thinking that it is Him, but I'm sorry to inform you that Jesus was speaking things to come {and they have} by man{the man not being Him}. Although Jerusalem wanted a King from God specifically for them alone, Jesus is for everyone and not to be taken Selfishly.
