1) Any country that attacks us, probably after a decade of unsuccessful diplomacy like in Iraq before the invasion.
2) We won the war in Iraq. Saddam was executed. We are now in a battle that is occurring on allied soil with outside agitators. Read the military reports, not the conspiracy theorists and U.F.O. sites.
3) We don't attack sovereign countries. It took an attempted assassination of one of our Presidents, the invasion of one of our allies (Kuwait), the payment of suicide bombers by Saddam for the killing of civilians in Israel, and a decade of continually breaking the cease fire for us to finally attack Iraq. We don't attack countries that don't attack us.
4) We catch the criminals in our ranks who do these things, such as torture, even with such silly pranks as done by those in Guantanamo Bay that you refer to. We try them, and convict them if guilty. Innocent until proved guilty? Be nice if you could apply that to our country instead of "guilty until proved innocent". We'd believe you actually care about those "tortured without trial" then rather than just making a politically bigoted attack.
5) The funniest thing is that you actually present the idea that we would "invade Canada and start massacring the Mounties and the Lumberjacks in order to steal whatever resources the Canadians have", while believing that is even close to reality?
Folks, is this really the side you are on?
Not me. Don't confuse this for all democrats, please.

While venting your frustrations may make you feel a little bit better, it doesn't accomplish anything except galvanizing your opposition against you. Also, using national stereotypes when describing people is a quick way to be written off by thinking people regardless of their politics. You would do much better if you researched your topic thoroughly and applied reason to issues that have been dominated by fear, nationalism, and anger on both sides of the aisle.

Defeat the people of Iraq?! Our men & women in the armed forces are sacrificing their lives trying to stop the sectarian violence that Al-Qaeda in Iraq sparked, its no longer a matter of laying down the law, they are there trying to take back Iraq from these thugs and giving it back to the people, its the least we owe them since we disrupted their way of life. Is it for the oil that we are in Iraq? Trust me, I wish it was so, I wish that Paul Bremer would have been smarter and not relinqueshed control of the oil and its revenue, for good PR, Mr. Bremer allowed Iraqi's to take control, and what has happend since? They are still arguing about how to distribute the profits. In turn, Iraq is buried in debt, and the mismanagement of their oil production is not only hurting them, its hurting the US as well. Also, we can drill in our own back yard, off the coast of Florida and California, but the environmentalist have rallied against the idea using pollution and the harm to the ecological system as an excuse not to drill.

people say it wasnt for the oil, my answer is yes but not totally. one of the main missions of the u.s. invasion of iraq was to secure the oil sites. now, we are pooring all this money into iraq which will become in great dept to us. so how do u think iraq will repay us. not with money because hello they dont have none but with the oil that we are running out of. ...and the answer to your question as to who is next, well i think our friendship with saudi is wearing thin. coincidence.

Having quietly looted all our natural resources to his pals via "leases" on them, bush will try and invade Iran next. Some type of 9-11 attack by his operatives will scare the idiots in the USA into going along with the scam. 60% of idiots still believe Saddam was behind 9-11 despite the 9-11 comm report...thats the level of stupidity and naivety operating in this deluded nation!

My prediction is that we will not "invade" anyone for quite some time.
Our next significant military action will be to evacuate our embassy in Zimbabwe, because that country is degenerating fast.

We didn't go into Iraq for oil, you misguided lib. If thats true, why are we still in Baghdad? Why don't our soldiers just guard the oil fields of places like Kirkuk? Why has Iraqi production of oil been cut into a third of what it used to be?
The fact is, blame your state goverment for higher oil costs through taxes.

you should really pick up a history book and read Scotland's history or Ireland's or Iraq's. Those countries have done a lot of invading themselves( I'm not saying that means they deserve it, I'm saying they aren't innocent).
in man's history power means war

Keep reading your blogs. Maybe someday there might actually be a real fact there. You won't believe it, but it might show up some day.
