what is bdsm

2007-07-30 01:17:20 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 1

huh?

i've been into the lifestyle for close to 6 years now, and i've *never* met anyone who laughs at the way i choose to live my life.

If you mean funny as in "wierd" well...anyone into BDSM does not subscribe to what is "normal" for wider society, and so, people think they have a god given right to judge, whether or not they actually *know* anything about the lifestyle.

I think it is about high time that being into BDSM was a recognised (and largely accepted) way of living, like being homosexual is (i am not singling anyone out, just wanting to try and use an example to back up my point of view).

cheers!

I don't think people find it so much funny as it is used in a commical sense by people that don't understand it.

Because it is funny and people that engage in it are usually complete freaks

Totally agree with Sean D ...

And I don't find it so much funny, as it is sad.
