Honey Don't worry so much about what is outside its the inside that makes you pretty !! Beauty is only skin deep ....as for a diet I have tried the cabbage diet ...if you like cabbage ?? Its a good diet but otherwise try cutting out pops,breads,pastas,and potatoes ....and eat in moderation when you are full then you need to be done then !!
My son is 13 and he was heavy and then Boom just like that he shot up ...you will go threw this too its growth spurts you gain weight then your body stores that till you shoot up in height !! please don't get discouraged I think you are beautiful just because of who you are !! Hugs ~~Carly♥

Stop drinking pop and eating junk food. Stay away from cheese. Eat more fruits and vegetables and cut back on your meal intake. The best way to do that is either eat off a smaller plate, or put you meals in a small soup or salad bowl and just eat how much you put in the bowl without going for seconds. Also, tell your parents you would like to be more healthier, since they are the ones who buy the food, they should help you. Drink a lot of water, and exercise, start jogging in the morning or ride a bike. Good luck!

Well, have you considered the possibility that you have a medical condition? There are various conditions which can cause excessive weight but commonly the two most prevalent are.
1. Lack of exersize, find an outdoor hobby you like and throw yourself into it, something where you get exercise, and preferably a lot of it.
2. See your doctor and ask whether they can test you for a thyroid or other condition, it's a very simple test and can lead to a vast improvement in your lifestyle if it turns out you have issues.

If your 13 and 4'10 and weigh 130 pounds, then don't ask us for advice cos we are not professionals - go see your family G.P, stop eating McDonald's, KFC and all that shite or before you know it you will be morbidly obese and be one of those people they crane out of the house after they have taken the roof off - and you don't won't that to happen. Go to you GP.

You didn't have to reveal your age ya know!
You want to lose weight, lower your carb intake. Exercise and drink lots of water.
It's what goes into your mouth that is making you gain right now.
Make sure you eat three meals day. Don;t starve yourself because that's no good.
Just eat sensible meals and you'll be alright.

I commend you at your desire to be healthier...but a fast weight loss isn't healthy. You didn't gain the weight overnight, and you can't lose it overnight either - especially at your age. Eat healthy meals of lean protein, fruits and vegetables. Cut out all junk food and sodas. Control your portions, and get plenty of exercise. Good luck to you.

Do you eat allot?? barley exercise? those may be the reasons.. i feel for you i really do
I cant really suggest anything GREAT..... but how about talking to your mother about how you feel and try to go to the doctors about your weight.. your definitely not obese just a little over weight not obese FACT... and the doctors will help you out enormously with calorie counting to exercise so try that x
