i think robot will not think like human do because they are hundred times smarter than human being and nature character friendly too...so emotion level is more stable than human being too....no emotion, feeling not existing....but only with wise and wisdom.
to compare both mankind and robotkind, actually is unfair, both are totally different!!!!
if you have a robot girlfriend in future, you ask her for date....
she probably only know your feeling and understand you, but for DATE, she probably will never understand, because robot cannot flirt like normal girls.....her brain may be full of millions knowledge of flirting, but she can never act so natural like human being....scientists doing experiment on robot emotion now.....still study and research...if emotion can take place.....may be the sentences you ask will become real!!!
that day may be is the war start between robot and human being!!!

Good answer, space lover, but I disagree! One thing a computer does best is learn from its mistakes, so it will not make them again! If you program it correctly ! But on the other hand Human beings always repeat their mistakes, and do it again and again!
If we ever have Artificial Intelligence, they will certainly be far better than their creators! Not so for human beings! We can not even come close!
And if a creature is sentient? Knows and realizes their own existence, they will have a soul, of sorts! Because they have been created by our God-given intelligence, how could they not?

Robot-(kind), even if they should become nearly sentient, should always bear in mind that they were indeed "created" by mankind (even though man did so by the grace of brains provided by the Great Creator!), thus the robots will ALWAYS be lesser "beings" subject to Man!

althoug Q's answer is a little convoluted, it is correct. Mankind will be holiest, created in God's image, robotkind will always be subjects of mankind who created them in man's image. thus Robots are one step removed from holiness/

The criterion of holiness is not on the physical aspect of a creation but rather on its ability to fulfill its full potential which could affect not only its own development but also its surrounding.
Man will always be holier than robot or any machine either now or in the future because we have the ability to accept our failures and transform them into something good that not only we, ourselves, can benefit but also the whole creations in general.
We will be holier than the machines because we have the capacity to be compassionate although we can be destructive oftentimes. That compassion drives us to be better humans and better creations and thereby making our place of residence, the earth, peaceful and a better place to live on.
We will be holier than the machines because we know our limitations yet we can go beyond them and be able to conquer them and make out of them our hopes and aspirations of going as far as we can. Difficult, yes, but we are flexible and determine.
We will be holier than any machine because we have our belief. Although man and machine will have their ends, man is superior because he has this faith of extended life beyond his present world. That capacity to believe into something unknown, obscure, far and inexplanable, makes man holier.
