You should not take your dog out in public until it has completed it's first set of shots by at least 1 week, I personally recommend 2 weeks.

Pups are protected by immunity that they get from their mother's milk. Vets do not know when that immunity wears off. It used to be thought that the immunity, which interfers with vaccinations was gone by 12 weeks of age. Any shot given before the immunity from mom wears off is of no value. Some new studies by Dr. Ron Schultz of Wisconsin University suggest that some pups retain immunity from their mother for up to 22 wks.
Shots are spaced out in hopes of vaccinating after mom's immunity wears off. Rarely, some dogs are non responders and will never have immunity, no matter how many vaccinations that they have.

you should wait at least 2 weeks but be very careful the 1st set is not that strong especially at this time teh pupp should have gotten it's first shot at 6-8 weeks he should actually at his age be getting his second set of the booster which is 3 shots. He probably hasn't nursed and lst a lot of his mothers immunity through the nursing.
I wouldn't take him out more than to go potty as he may be able to pick up things very easily until his second booster

You shouldn't allow your puppy to walk or play in areas where there are or have been other dogs (parks, pet stores, walks, the lobby of the vets office, groomer, etc) until his vaccine series is complete. If your pup is 10 weeks old and this is his first shot, he is already behind. Puppies get vaccines every 14-28 days until their adult teeth begin to erupt (at 15-18 weeks old). Until the series is complete he may not have adequate immunity and may become ill.
Your vet will (or should) discuss all of this at your 1st visit.

Your vet will tell you when you can take your dog out. It depends on the make of vaccine used and the prevalance of different diseases in your area. Most vets recommend that a puppy shouldn't go out until 7-14 days after his second innoculations, but you have to weigh this against socialising your puppy.

He will have his next one at 12 wks old & then he will be able to go out a week after that. I will confess that I take mine out 4 days after the second jab. It usually has taken full affect by then.

if in the UK you need to wait until he second set of jabs your dog has his first set ,then a few weeks later he has his second set of jabs, and then 10 to 14 days after that he can then go out for walks
