What is the best way to sell a car? I have a Saab 9-3 2.0i S 5dr Hatchback 1998 model (S reg). I have already placed an ad on autotrader.co.uk and reading.gumtree.com.

Please let me know if there is any other way to sell my car.

Hi.......not everybody has a computer.......Put it in the paper and local supermarkets too. The more people can see it, the better chance of selling it...........Good Luck!!

Almost ALL warranties sold, whether for used or new cars, are unnecessary. A large percentage of the cost is for commissions for the people who sold them to you, and the dealership, from which you purchased the car. But, just because you have a factory warranty, there are some things that the extended warranty will cover that the factory warranty does not. Factory warranties normally cover the drive train, and not much else, while the extended warranty may cover items such as window motors, electrical problems, etc. There is no fraud here, the dealer simply sold you a warranty (which is offered to everyone now-a-days), and you bought it. Buyers remorse does not equal dealer fraud. Make the most of the warranty, and turn it down the next time it is offered. Good luck to you.

Firstl give it a good clean and polish make sure any minor scrathes or curbed wheels repaired. You could use exchange and mart as its national unlike autotrader which is by region, if its in the magazine. Auctions is another route but set a realistic reserve. I used a sign and parked the car near a very busy industrial estate where there was loads of offices, factorys and a large supermarket and it sold within 2 days.
