No but we call her the feet disturber cause every night when we are sleeping she comes in and lays on our feet, and she gets very angry if you try and move your feet.

My cat Paddy greets the day by jumping on my lap as soon as I sit down in the morning. My cats don't have the run of the house and can't get in my bedroom because of my allergies. They have their own room, so I let them out of their room after I'm ready for the day. Paddy asks before he jumps up by sitting up on his hind legs and extending one paw to my leg and looking pitiful. He's big and muscular so has to sit a certain way or it's actually painful. This cat is so sweet and tolerant. He doesn't need to be in my lap all the time and comes and goes. My husband's lap is the preferred lap for the rest of the cats. He calls them his lap lumps. I'm up and down more than he is so that's probably why they like his lap best. He also gives them treats from his lap and also gives them a piece of whatever he's eating. Bribery, I think.

Rita loves my lap- I got her when I was 18 in college, I am 30 in grad school- we've been through a lot, and since my husband and I are still in school, she is really our homework cat. You sit here, do your work, and Rita keeps you company to make it better.
José will only sit in his lap, but he likes to be hugged and picked up.
Phoebe was not only a lap cat, she was a "you had a bad day, I will take care of you" cat. We have a kitten who is like that now. I hurt my shoulder pretty bad, but Layla tries to fix it by snuggling my face and petting me. She is the "I will be on any part of you and love you" kitten.

I would love it if my Maddie was a lap cat. Unfortunately, she's a CHEST cat. When I am sitting in the chair, my lap is just not enough. She will stretch out her whole body so her head is right near my neck and her paws are resting on my shoulders. It's comical....I literally have to PULL her off of me - she has a kung-fu grip. haha.

my cat is very much a lap cat when she decides it is lap time, which is usually when i am in the middle of my paper and she thinks she has to jump into my lap and scrunch the paper down so she can perch thereon and look over all that she rules from atop the k.c.star.

Nope. The closest mine gets is sitting on my desk blocking the monitor when I'm at the computer. And sometimes she'll walk across my lap to get from one end of the couch to the other.
She doesn't love love. :D
