Christians and christians only please. Do you find talking to negative people who do not love Jesus bring you?

down in your spirit? It does me. And even talking to negative Christians too, do you find that brings you down too? It does me. I love talking to people who is pationate for God and his Son Jesus and who can encourage you when you are down. At the moment I have a hillsong cd on and I love ther music. How many of you out there love hillsong? They are popular.What is your favorite Hillsong song? I love worthy ist he lamb, shout to the Lord, be still, Hallelujah, one way, My Redemer lives, Glory, The potters hand, shout your fame, Here I am to worship and many more. Do you christains have any encouraging message for me that will help lift my spirits?

please try to understand that Yahoo Answer is not for people who love Jesus only but for every one nope.

and Jesus is not god son nope he just sent him to people like you who could think that god could have a son why would he have son only why if he want to communicate with human have to get a man and say that is my son why couldn't he get a just a man and tell him go and tell them what I want from them only with out son thing.

if you say as you do now that Jesus is a god son then we are all god Children that means we are all gods!!!

think about it really hard and do not be stupid like the rest of the Christians.

well you have to know that what ever makes the word of god change then that is just a big lie to suport thier aims

when god create this earth he did not ask you if you would like to have the sun colour green but he did it and you just know the colour of the son.

so that means that if he want you to understand that god do not need to have a son to make it simble for human to understand what he want to tell you.

then you should think now really hard of making god the only god only one god do not make it like a game god son and stuff think people think.

what we need to know that there are many people are going to hell did you not ask yourself it may be me one of them.

well how could you know if god like Christians think will but every one to havean. no man Christians think only them will get there then Muslims love Jesus as Mush as you do and maby more because they do what he told him to do like do not have SEX before marriege. is the point there yet.

be a Muslim you get to MUslim havean and Christians havean and Jews havean because they love them as mush you do. and they bolive on them.

Hi. Yeah, i love Hillsong music. I almost have all their albums and been collecting since Shout to the Lord 2000 album. I recommend you get the United Live too. It's there youth group doing music, very nice as well. I'm really blessed with there lyrics.

When Im down, i usually listen to Casting Crowns music and Don Moen I Will Sing album. It can really uplift my spirit. Hope to you too. But what I do if that does not work, I watch Passion of the Christ. Everytime i feel down, watching it reminds me of Jesus' suffering, that He suffered more than I did and He doesnt leave me like this.

They have the opposite effect on me. They [non-believers and negative Christians] make me more resolute in my beliefs. Curiously, they also make me happier, because no matter what they say, I can see where Christ is at work in my life. Nothing anyone can say will change that. When people deny that I can have faith, it only highlights, to me, the faith I have. (Iron sharpens iron.)

I'm not familiar with Hillsong, but my encouraging message for you would be this: "My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27)

How do you spread his word then? You sound self indulgent rather than a good Christian.

Christianity is not there to make you feel good, safe, secure or anything else - it is there for you to worship God, lead a Christian life and follow the Lord's direction.

If you cannot take negative discussion your faith is weak and if it is weak it is because you lack true faith and your heart is not truly open to the Lord.

Pray for help and guidance to grow stronger, for Christianity was never meant to be, and probably never will be, an easy path.

When I click on R&S, I always pray to God to be able to help someone.
I block all the blasphemers. I look only to help those really seeking.
Yes, it also brings me down.

your question or rather the statement you made abt negative people is sooo true. jesus said its not what you put inside your mouth but rather what proceeds from your mouth that makes one unclean. when out of their negativism they speak forth it contaminates others too.

jesus said to love all. but as growing christians we need to be on guard against those who perpetually seem to have nothing but negativity to speak of. surround yourself with positive people. speak positively yourself. seek out the positive in even those who speak negative and speak it out as soon as you are with them. if you have to stay with them for long make sure you pepper you conversation with assertive positive praise and gratefulness to the great ways God has been dealing with you. ( imagine the situation- everytime they open their mouth they say something negative, you one the other hand open your mouth when you can say soemthing good, positive, encouraging, and uplifting. suppose someoneelse hears ur conversation it will be pretty hilarious and bring glory to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.)

So do not dispair. hold fast to your confession and rejoice.

after speaking with negative people do not forget to speak specifically and thank Jesus for all his grace and mercy and learn to encourage yrself. otherwise you can get contaminated. God Bless

Any type of negativity brings me down. Spiritual negativity is especially hard to hear since it seems that most people say negative things about God and Christianity just to hurt others.

Since you are listening to Christian music, you already know what to do to bring yourself back in touch with what is good, right and true. I include negative people in my prayers and I have the hope that it will help them; I know it certainly helps me.

I pray that our mighty, awesome God will lighten your heart and life your spirits and give you peace. In Jesus name.
