I'm not an Atheist, but lets get your bearings straight here.
Atheists just don't believe in God, period. If Adam was created by God, they don't believe that God created Adam.
Along that same line of reasoning, therefore any character from the bible is just not a good source of a question to ask an Atheist since they think the bible is just nonsense anyways.
What they cannot argue against is your faith. They know all they need to know about Christianity, it's not your or my job to convince anyone. When the day comes for them to confront God and explain their lives, they cannot say they didn't know He existed, they have plenty of exposure here.
Let them worship, and believe in what they want, but don't use these kinds of questions just to prove a point, it's just not going to work. The source is invalid to them.
