It doesn't contain sunscreen. Perhaps you could combine it with a sunscreen and then use it. Go to the nivea site www.nivea.co.uk for sun tips.Hope this helps. and Happy SAFE tanning

Its not designed as a sunscreen and will more than likely have the opposite effect. Best get a decent sun protector, and use that as an after tan lotion.

Wouldn't recommend it as as sun protection - but Nivea do actually make a sun screen lotion. All different factors!

nope you can't unless you want to be burn so badly. yeah it does do wonders for a tan but it's not good for your skin you need good sun protection it protects your skin for u.v rays from the sun so stick to sun stuff

You need to look for SPF or it won't protect you!

no you need one that has specific protection for the climate you are in.
