If you have nothing to argue what else are you going to do? Well they sure do like to quote irrelivant bible passages as well and they sure do like circular logic.

Scientific discoveries can induce a reverential attitude in some scientists. Albert Einstein admitted: “You will hardly find one among the profounder sort of scientific minds without a religious feeling of his own. . . . Religious feeling takes the form of a rapturous amazement at the harmony of natural law, which reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection.” Yet, this does not necessarily lead scientists to believe in a Creator, a personal God.

Only thing I am going to disagree with America was founded on Christianity... check out this site and google it. Oh and the human evolution thing.. I think some of the human transitional fossils were people with birth defects.. a lot of inter family marriages took place among ancient tribes which could cause that....

I do believe in Creation.. However I do believe that God could have said Bang and there it was.. I guess someday we will find out.. science cannot prove things 100% with out a doubt.. but I do think science is a wonderful tool, that can save lives, and answer many questions about our world. God gave us brains to use.. not just to sit around like lumps.

I think there is a certain amount of doubt for christians. They have hope, and want that to represent faith. Unfortunately, there are a lot of religious belief structures. None have a base in fact, but in myth. I tell people that myth isn't meant to be defined as truth. The truth is buried within the myth. If you attempt to make myth truth, you have areas that can not be defined logically. That's where they apply "faith", as opposed to seeking the truth within the myth. I used to give human spitiruality classes, and teach about myth and finding truth without telling them the truth within the myth. That way a person can come to an understanding of their own about things they seek. Knowledge and understanding bring about wisdom, seek first knowledge and get understanding.

When I want to find out something I ask if I'm not satisfied I read, so if you are not satisfied with the answers from christians read the bible. I challenge you to find any lies in the bible. You sound like a man that speaks what you have heard not what you have read. Ms. Lilith I guaranty that 1 sec. after you die you will be a believer. I take it back, Rahab did lie in exodus & afew other guys, but the word doesn't lie

Faith is a matter of the spiritual nature, not of the physical world.

The evidence is more of an internal understanding than seeing physical proof. What would a physical proof serve when you've already made up your mind to firmly believe in something else?

People will believe and understand what they want to believe and understand.

Yup, if God gives us proof, people can't have faith in his existence, since you need faith for belief, and that would destroy the concept of God. So really, the only way the concept of God to stand up to criticism is if he doesn't offer any proof of his existence. Strange, isn't it?

And you care because ...? So dinosaurs existed before we did ... so there was a second gunman on The Grassy Knoll ... So you probably tried to pronounce that "K" ... SO WHAT?

Christianity itself is based on a myth ... that doesn't make its wisdom UNTRUE, just un"real". Maybe I'm typing this with my fifth- and seventh-arm; SO WHAT?

Because they have no case based on truth. Read the Dover School Board case [Kitzmiller], to see what the judge had to say about the matter. (It is easily findable with Google.)
