When I get up after laying down for a while, I stand up on my right knee and the joint doesn't support my weight, it just gives out and down I go. It has been doing this for a while, should I wrap it or what? I would appreciate some advice, thanks.

I've had the same problem from time to time, and I still don't know what it is about. It comes and it goes, sometimes for years. I recommend that you see a doctor about this to make sure everything is ok. Also, while your knee is doing this, just be careful that you have support so that you don't fall and injure yourself. not sure how old you are. it could be number of things. if you are an older person the best thing is see the doc maybe you need to have knee replacement. if you are kid you could get shot of stuff from doc and it will help and go away. either way you just dont' know didn't give me enough information.

Wrapping up may not help. Visit a orthopedic doc and based on advise, you may get some x-rays done to diagnose the problem,

it could be something serious. Wrapping would not work. Go to an orthopedist as soon as possible.
