No, white tea is not an herbal tea. White tea, green tea, black tea, oolong tea all come from the same plant.
If you're looking for a good herbal tea try drinking Rooibos tea. It's caffeine free and has a ton of health benefits and it tastes fantastic.

I know a few Mormons, and they don't have a problem with Pepsi, or Diet Coke. So tea shouldn't be a problem.

i think it's ok since it's herbal. any tea is herbal because herbs are used to make them. anyways, anything that has alcohol in it is forbidden in Mormons...

well, i am not a mormon, but i married into a mormon family. its true they certainly dont take tea or coffee, but whenever i have seen coke on the table at family getogethers, its the caffeine free version. there is always a beer or a glass of wine for me, and my mum-in-law always offers all of her house guests tea or coffee. they are a wonderful family to me, and the only time religion comes up, is when i ask about it.

It's fine to drink any kind of tea.
The word of wisdom? C'mon! If it's so wise how come youd ont see farmers rubbing tobbacco on their cows when they get hurt.
How come mormons own Pepsi, which has caffeine?
Why did Jesus drink wine if it was unwise? Heck, he turned an entire RIVER into wine once!
Drink tea, coffee, soda, beer, wine, booze. Smoke tobbacco and use drugs if you want! Joseph Smith was a CONVICTED CONJURER before he found the plates. He was a fraud. Everyone knows this, why don't you?
