I would first check the Hawk Shops in your area.

You can possibly find a very good guitar.

If you have experience with guitars, you will know when you pick one up to play. No warped neck.

If you don't know, then I suggest you take a friend who knows.

I was able to buy a very expensive guitar for 1/4 the price. It had a beautiful sound. They get better with age if they are taken care of.

My next suggestion is to check local music stores. They often have repossessions.

The last place I would check is on the web.

I would never buy that type of merchandise, sight un seen.

check the internet for something like a fender strat. I got a $350 Fender guitar for 199.99 on ebay. You just have to search for good deals, and prices are usually cheaper online, if you know where to look.

Check Craigslist for your city. I always see good deals on guitars there. Goodluck

The rook bottom cheapy guitar will cost you $99. If you could spend $200 - $300, you would get something that you would be happier with.
