I think that it is quite easy to see which one is true.......
It is the 1 that has a promise for tomorrow, hope and you don't have to do anything you don't have to save yourself or hurt yourself or those around you to be saved, but trust Him and what HE says's and you will be provided for.

There are many religions - it is not possible for all of them to be correct, however it IS possible for all of them to be incorrect.
Using your brain is good. Using your heart is also good (and, as it happens, necessary to live), because the heart is a muscle that pumps blood throughout your body. A little brain usage should remind you that the heart is not the source of emotions or faith - these things come from the brain (the non-rational part of the brain), the same part of the brain that invented the idea of god.
This imaginary deity that humans came up with to explain unknown phenomenon was, ironically, not very imaginative: "Oooh, I can't explain this so it must be caused by some all-powerful, all-knowing force to which I will ascribe human characteristics and worship."
"Hey, check it out. Look how many ignorant, non-thinking people I can control if I get them to follow my idea of god. Cool, they will even give me money."
"I can prevent dissension if I say god is all knowing and all-powerful and make the masses afraid of not believing. I can quell the critical thinkers by saying that god is beyond the reach of naturalistic or scientific validation. I can dazzle the thoughtless masses with stories of miracles and sound bytes like: 'seek and ye shall find,' and 'absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.'"
You see, science cannot disprove the existence of god, nothing can - the idea of faith is untouchable by reason. Science can, however disprove the claims and predictions of religions, provided they are specific enough - and there are many examples of this (science has shown us that the Earth is 4.55 billion years old, and that life has evolved over time, and that it's not possible to flood the entire Earth, etc.)
It's not god that prevents us from the scientific examination of religion, it's your faith in the god idea substituting for reason.

Unfortunately, intuition AKA: "listening to the heart" is notoriously unreliable.
How does deliberately allowing worldwide religious-based conflicts "test our hearts"? So far the only thing religious conflicts have done is make a lot of hearts stop beating.
If this is some kind of "test", then it's a sadistic one. Even worse, not letting the world know exactly which religion and specific sect is the "correct" one, and then condemning everyone else to suffer forever for the incorrect choices made by the "hearts" he is supposedly testing makes him even more of a monster.

You are making it sound like we are mice on God's treadmill. No need for a test. If God is omni-intelligent then He already knows the answer. The battle for the True Religion continues to kill people. Mankind takes a lot of crap from religion. Humankind deserves better for what we put up with concerning the worlds beliefs and its violence. God must take a more active role in religion. Hope that's not a problem.

Most theists don't believe in a God who is ignorant, powerless, evil, and ignores humanity. They believe he is omniscient, omnipotent, benevolent, and watches over humanity.
There is a simple experiment which can conclusively prove whether or not such a being exists.
1) Load 1,000 six-cylinder revolvers with 3 bullets each, spin them each to a random chamber, and pull the triggers once each. Record the number of shots fired. Roughly 50% of the guns will fire.
2) Repeat step 1, but this time aim each of the guns at the head of devout believer who is praying earnestly for God to save him. If none of the guns fire, God exists. If 50% of the guns fire, God doesn't.
The fact that believers refuse to volunteer for this sort of objective experiment proves that they do not really believe that an omniscient, omnipotent, and benevolent God is watching over humanity.

God wants us to seek Him, learn of Him and know Him.
It is said that to a unbeliever no proof is possible but to a Believer no proof is needed.
The Bible does not prove there is a God it is only evidence.
We are to prove it in our lives (see Hebrews 3 and 4 Amplified version, "experimentially").
That is why we can not argue a person into Belief, they have to want to believe in their heart.

God never create religion. Humans did. with their 'brains'
God only teach to humans who is God, what God's done and how to pray and praise God; audible (before Christ), face to face (in Jesus time), and now with the bible and through our heart with Holy spirit.

Man's understanding and limited knowledge can not completely comprehend God. We do not know God from our wisdom but from God's revelation.
