Finished the race without any "engine problems"?.....so why did jr have crappy parts?....Did Teresa go by the junk yard and tell Tony Eury,JR "just use these"!....or did she have a button she pushed on lap 135 for his car to blow the pulley?

I'm sure Teresa smiled to herself when his engine blew. I think it stinks for him. He's gonna be hell on wheels next year!

If there even was some sort of conspiracy it would be the other way around. Teresa would bust her bum to get Dale Jr the absolute best cars on the circuit and prove him wrong that he cannot win at DEI.
What you people are proposing would mean Teresa would just be affirming what Jr's gripe was all along-the cars aren't competitive enough.
Furthermore, Dale Jr had a car that definitely would have finished in the top 5...that means Teresa gets money. Why would she do anything to jeopardize the cash flow to her company?

Unless Teresa is an evil ***** looking to get at Dale Jr. (I know step-parent/step-kid relationships are never that good, but if its that bad between the two, ouch!), I think it could just be nothing more than a case of s*** happening.

Here's something you so called NA$CAR experts probably don't understand since most of you are non automotive. Jr's engine was probably built looser that the others. Meaning the clearance on the Main and Rod Bearings, Piston Rings to the cylinder walls , etc. was more. They do this for less friction which translates to more power and speed. But the downside is the longevity of the engine is a gamble.The engine setup is the most likely the reason he lead those laps. So actually the " evil stepmom" was trying to give him more of a chance to win. Get over it.

i don't think she is the hole problem.don't get me wrong i don't like what has gone at a dei.it is a big racehe may have been pushing a lil hard things brake get bad parts.she cant look at a part n say o this one is crap put it dale jrs. car.the same thing happened to truex last week rem.she maybe a b but she ain't that good,go jr free the 8

No buttons not nothing his engine just blew up.. llike someone said.. they do that and it was made differently to get more speed and longevity is the thing that they give up for speed..

I wished you rednecks would stop blaming Teresa Earnhardt for Jr's engine blowing up. S*** happens and it happened to Jr yesterday. He was running really strong so he had a good car.

If he didnt blow his engine he would have won flat out. I think Earnhardt will win it next year, i think for him it would be an honor to win a race like that especially since his father did.

Well since he was my starter in the A group for fantasy NASCAR that was the kiss of death. I've brought bad luck to everyone that has been on my fantasy team!

They wouldn't rebuild his engine from the last race and yes she has a button to blow up his engine !
