I usually don't like too much red meat, but when I do have a steak I like it pretty much burnt to a crisp with sauteed onions, green peppers and mushrooms on the top, with lots of salt and BBQ sauce.

I like to rub my steaks with olive oil and seasoning. About an inch thick. With medium flame 5-6 minutes on each side. Depends on the steak being used. Then it is done i don't like to let it set because it tends to dry after a while.

i go out and buy any tipical steak seasoning. or i'll bring together several seasonings and add them to my steak. its not the smae everytime, but the steak tastes ether better or the same as the last steak i made. i usuall y go with the flow. but one thing remains the same. i usually like it sorta burnt, i have no idea why, but rare and medium rare are what i switch to sometimes. i like to mix, it up, but it always turns out good. =)

Rare. A good quality piece of meat should not cause health problems if it was stored properly and came from a good source. If you bought a steak from a mini-mart you take your chances.
