Do you agree if Japan Self-Defense Forces become army? Why or why not?

If Japan self-defense forces became army, they could order the military go to oversea or attack China, Korea and Taiwan on their own initiative.
Is that good?

I cannot see Japan attacking China again, but I definitely think that Korea might have a problem. Especially if they were to keep lobbing missiles over their island. No this would not be a good thing. Any war in which Japan might become involved in would have a direct effect for the United States on several different levels.

If Japan was to become another aggressive military power again, it goes to show they haven't learned any lessons from World War II. Plus Asia today is very different from World War II. China and Korea are more than strong enough to stop any Japanese aggression. Also the Japanese economy is in no shape to rearm. As one of oldest population in the world, creating a new army would only create disaster for the common Japanese citizen. Perfect example of a few war hawks ruining the image of the average Japanese citizen.

Japanese attacking China, Korea?

North Koreans are still tinkering with nuclear stuff and China is rapidly building up arm forces. Russians are kind of friendly with Iran.

Japan has to be stupid not to build up more arms themselves.

yeah japan isnt gonna attack china anytime soon and as far as i can see it all those countries are minding there own business, you know how how your neighbors buy your house may be quiet but you see them as different or wierd that doesnt mean you go fight them, the japs would have our backs though but korea and china and taiwan our some of biggest importers and exporters so we all profit from one and other no matter what there political standpoints are we should ignore it and keep doin what were doin, if japan gets in a war we'll all be screwed, they are one of our main allys and i would prefer not havin any more buds getting killed for no reason yo grow up
