So often when I ask a question I get attack personally . Just because I ask a question does not mean I have any connection to the question. It would be better just to answer a question and not be ready to hang someone you dont know.
I may be you mother.

Who knows why they do this, sometimes if the question is so out there, you just know it is made up.

Or because they can't relate, and just choose to be rude, or mean.

Sometimes, I must admit, I can't help it but make a funny comment, especially when the question is not well written and you have to try to figure out what they are asking.

Good Luck

You should be responsible with your own question. Readers can tell what a sensible question it. What you ask also mirrors your personality. The fact that you used your account to post your question, you're responsible for all the questions made in your account. Those who read and answer won't think your account was hijacked or you're asking it on somebody's behalf.

So it all boils down to this: be responsible in formulating your question.

Most hate questions that are dumb and chances are, they attack the person who asked it.

Because for a lot of people, it's easier to attack the asker than to address the merits of the question. Less effort than actually having to think about the issue and come up with a solution.

We see this constantly, especially in the political forums.

The web is a media in which people are anonymous and there is no fear of serious consequences or retribution for bad or obnoxious or rude or threatening behavior. When people are anonymous they do and say things they ordinarily wouldn't do or say. Kids get on here and just think it's fun to get in everyone's face. Kids will be kids. Those answers are meaningless and not to be taken with any thought or seriousness. Just accept them for what they are.

precisely the reason since attackers know that you are not their Mama.More over, some times the wording of a question are quite provocative and at times an answerer may take the issue as an affront to his strongly held views or convictions.Either way, there is nothing much that can be done except to ignore and keep going,as we often do in other aspects of life.

I've been wanting to ask the same thing! LOL. seriously, yahoo! answers is for people to ask and answer other users, rather then the search engine. why can't it just stay that way? why does everyone have to hate and interrogate other people? there are so many close-minded people answering and asking questions and all they do is spit out comments that are either just plain dumb, racist, or some other form of judgmental hate!!! what is wrong with you people?!?! we're ALL HUMAN BEINGS. love each other.

you wouldn't be my mum because she is right behind me in the lounge room to answer your question it's just the way people are and your right people should keep there opinions to themselves if they have nothing to say but personal attacks. But people will be people and you have to learn to deal with otherwise it'll stress you out trying. But you'll learn at your own pace.

People can ask any manner of question...it all depends on the way the question is presented. If you insult someone in the way you ask your question, what are you expecting in response?

This under Law Enforcement? Maybe no one understands you questions. This one is kind of hard to follow with all the poor grammar and spelling.
