it is just me and I am in the middle of nowhere. or better yet an infinite world filled with just water and sky..no land at all and the sky is beautiful with a few clouds and it is so bright but there is no sun to be found anywhere. In the dream I never move. I am standing in still, knee deep water that is so clear yet it does on forever (there is no bottom) when I look down I can see my reflection ..everything but my face. then i notice my hands are bound behind my back and I just bend forward and dip only my face into the water. when my face enters the water, it lights up and I can finally see my face, I am smiling.
then I wake up

it is symbolic, the clear flat water and the calmness all represent a peaceful relaxing a warm tingly feeling you may have experienced just lying there in a tub of tepid water. soaking closing your eyes then dipping forward to feel this wonderful freshness around your face. You know you are smiling and because you experience this moment of wonder for real,?? In your dream this is revisited in a symbolic and graphic sense of your imagination.

It's interesting to see that you are bound and yet you are still happy. Usually bright light represents some sort of Godly presence. Water can mean purification or birth of a spiritual life. Maybe that is your future and you are looking forward to it.

I'm only guessing, but I'd say it's suggesting you're in a period of stasis, a phase you'll be in for a while, like school. You feel kind of stuck, bound to it, but you're OK with that, because you see the future spread out ahead of you and it's limitless?

oh, shut up, kelly v! i would like to tell you what your dream means, but i cant. but man, that's a cool dream. i wish my dreams were as meaningful and filled with symbolism as yours must be. an example of my meaningless dreams: whenever i feel something is funny, or i laugh at something i usually go "thats funny!" in my dream i was sitting with my friend sara and she said (out of nowhere) "oh my gosh, i hate people who say 'thats funny!' after something funny happened." and then she remembered that i do, and she was like, oh my gosh, i didnt mean you!! but she didnt hurt my feelings by saying that and i knew she really didnt mean me...and that was my dream. stupid, right?
