for about a year now ive wanted to get my lip pierced really bad..i dont know where to get it pierced though..should i get the piercing where you put a stud in the spot where marilyn monroe had her mole..or should i get a ring on the right side of my bottom lip..or should i get two rings side-by-side on my bottom lip..or should i get some kind of labret?? how do i tell what would look best on me?
and how bad does it hurt?

personally i love vertical labrets (they go through the middle of your lip with a ball on top and on bottom). i have a friend who has a small silver stud on one side of her lower lip and it looks really nice. i suggest you check out the photo galleries on bmezine.com and see what you like.

YEAH dude, thinking about the same thing. those ones look cool yep look on YOUTUBE you can see people getting their lip pierced. i know quite a few people as well whove had it done. i do not think its that painful and only take a couple of seconds to do, they put the needle through and the theres a straw like applicator on the end connectin to the ring so it all goes smoothely if ure worried. i would get it done but decided i do not want a hole in face really for perm so i am getting a fake one which will look real and stay in, same as the one ud get if u had it for real. just take the ball out :)

It doesn't hurt, I think lip rings look better on the bottom lip on the side.

Monroes REALLY hurt. I suggest getting just your bottom side of your lip. Doesn't really hurt.

How does lip piercing help in job interviews--other than applying at a tattoo parlor? Wouldn't such piercings get in the way with romance?

dont do the labria its chews up your gums and chips your teeth and when you talk spit comes out of the hole so you are constantly wiping your peircing causeing irritation and it heals slowly. my suggestion get a fake ring and wear it in different spots to see if youll even like it

Save your lips and get either a tongue or nipple piercing.
Lip piercings are lame, IMO.
