I'm beginning to wonder if my boyfriend is bipolar or something. He can be happy at the start of the night, and be telling me he loves me and trying to hold me, then out of nowhere he turns into a jerk. He'll push me away when I go to kiss him, say ok If I tell him I love him, ignore my questions, and basically act like he would rather be anywhere else. But then he'll go back to being the sweet boyfriend I love a few days later! I'm just confused about what to do. Its getting very hard to deal with an unpredicatable boyfriend- I never know whether I will thrill him or make him furious just by touching him. Its almost embarassing, he has gotten on to me in public for holding his hand. Also, I feel so deprived of affection. He only wants to kiss and hold me when he wants more, and never asks what I want or anything. I'm just very worn out, and tired of discussing it with him (all he says is thats just who he is)

could it possibly be me? Is he just tired of something I'm doing maybe?

Relationships are supposed to make you happy, not miserable. If this guy is causing you that much strain, then it is time to leave him. He doesn't seem to care whether he is hurting you, so why should you waste your time on him? Find a nice guy that will appreciate you and be concerned about your feelings. This jerk is a loser!!!!

It sounds like he indeed has a problem. Unfortunately until he's ready to face that fact, there's nothing you can do. You can't change him. You either have to accept that is how he is or you need to move on.

You need to cut your losses and get away from this guy. He has mental and emotional problems way to big for you to solve. You cannot save him but he can ruin your life. Trust your instincts and get away while you can.

It sounds like he suffers from a Cluster B personality disorder. Look those up and see if he doesn't fit. I dated one of those.

You either need to
a) accept that that is really how he is and get over it
b) tell him how you feel and get his reaction, from there you guys can work it out or you can
c) break up and move on.
