I need advice before I kill myself! Please help?

My grandmother treats me as if the fugitive slvae act is still going on, my younger brother is a racist against me, my older brother yells at me, and my Mom won't even look at me or talk to me. Let alone say hello. I sleep on the floor, I live in a Senior Citizen Home with me Grandmother, I hardly get any food. I am so thin you can see most of my bones! I no longer go to school so I turned to shy again and now have anger issues. My life is pathetic and I don't think I can make it through. I really am thinking of suicide. Tho I am only 15. My best friend online said to not think that way and say that I am better than anyone. Doesn't help. Every night I cry myself to sleep. I really need help! I don't think I can live like this anymore. Please answer my question! ( Also : My dad has been dead since the day I was born )

First of all, lets take a moment and stop looking at all the bad things and find the blessings in your life. First, you have a roof over your head and you are not in the streets. Second, you are eating something. Something is better then nothing. Third, you are of age to get a part-time job, even if you have to throw newspapers...to make some of your own money. Fourth, you have a BEST FRIEND who obviously cares for you very much.

OK, I now that 4 blessings is not a lot...but its a start. I want you, every night from now on, instead of crying yourself to sleep, I want you to start a "Blessings Journal." I don't care if you have to write that your only blessings is that you got out side and breathed fresh air...write it down. Or that you saw a flower growing beside a building or the rain fell on you. Write it down! Will you promise me that?

Next I want you to hold in there for one more month and then school will start. You sound like you would qualify for free breakfast, and lunches and maybe after school programs. Ask you teachers, counselors, friends, friends parents...who ever you have to, just ask...will you promise me that?

The only dumb question is the one that was never ask...always remember that!

I am not here to give you a sermon, but I will tell you this. God LOVES you very very much, and don't let anyone ever tell you different. You might say then why are you where you are today? And I must confess that I don't have that answer...but I do know this. God loved you so much that he sent his only son Jesus Christ to earth to die for your salvation. And Christ did that willingly. So willing that if you would have been the only one on earth He would have still came, He would have still willingly stretched out his arms, and He would have still willingly given up his life for you. That's how much He loves you!

I tell you all of this for a very important reason. Christ did all of that so that YOU MAY HAVE LIFE AND HAVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY!!!!!

Again, I do not know why you are in the situation you are, but I know that suicide is NOT the answer. God works in mysterious ways, and I know of people in your situation that when they are older are in great positions that would have never been possible had they not been where they had been and went through what they went through. We know not what God has next for us, but we have His promise that the good work He has begun in us, He will complete!

OMG !!!!!!!!!! jamiefan9 what a sad state of affairs for you and at such a young age too. if i could i would take you myself( but i live in australia ).please go and see your local welfare branch and ask to see a woman social worker and tell her just what is going on in your life and how you are feeling.don't just shove this under the carpet and think they wont do anything to help you,because they will help in anyway they can.they are not the monsters most people say they are.PLEASE make sure you go and see someone and PLEASE get back to me about this and how you are going.i cant understand the mentality of your family as a whole.you should not be treated as a slave and be ignored by your mother is the most horrid thing i have ever heard.you need to go to a foster family that will love you for who you are and be treated as an equal in this world.donnot think of ending it as hope has not been totally lost.i was in a situation a little like yours when i was your age and now i am a mother of a 15yr old beautiful daughter and also a wonderful son who is 31yrs old,so you see there is hope after all.PLEASE go seek help asap.best of luck to you sweety and i do hope i hear from you again to my email address.god is blessing you right now and so am i.all the best to you love chen.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

How do you even begin to answer this kind of question, well I sure wont ask you to explain all of what you just wrote, although you must admit some of it does not make any sense :) if you and your brother are the same race ? how can he be racist against you? while I am sorry that your Father has past away, look at how you wrote it, you said, he has been dead every since you were alive :) sure you can see the ironic humor in that, :) speaking of your Dad, do you think for one second he would want to see you write this letter? I would think not.

please allow me to answer your question as if I were you Father right now, perhaps it will get the message across better;
Baby Girl, what are you talking about killing yourself for? you are the very proof that I ever existed at all, If you only knew the deepest dreams I held inside myself, you would know that I hoped to see you happy, see you make me a Grand Father, see you live to do all these wonderful things and more, baby if I could be there right now, I would take you hold you close and listen to you, once I was sure you had it all out! I would simply say to you, Poey on all those people who are not treating you right,, now I hope for both our sakes, you will abandon this wicked idea of Taking your life , taking our life, I was counting on you,, I still am, I know you will make it and you will LIVE , you will Live for both of us,, Daddy in a Box thank you man for talking to my child with me, thank you, I hope she will take this and use it for VICTORY!

Now that I have answered your question, you will do me and your dad a favor, you will call someone in the morning or even right now if you have to, and talk to someone ,, call a Teen Suicide line I dont have the number , but you can find it ,, talk baby talk and live baby live,, when you have your 1st child, which your dad and I hope is atleast after you are 21 and grown, if not thats cool too, but let me know how you are doing from this point on, deal ?

im very sorry that you are going through this. never think of taking your life cause that would not be good. i must say pray and trust and beleive. life is hard for all of us no matter if you are young or old, i would say for you to go an talk to someone at the local family and children serveces or call 911 if need be, but try to get some help soon. you might want to try to get a little job or something and please go back to school.

My dear little friend, Why don't you call DHS in your area and tell them your situation. I know they will try & find you a good home where the family respects & loves you as you are. You don't need to be treated that way dear. You are worthy of love & happiness and to be able to share your best qualities with a family who really cares for you!! Start thinking you are worth something because you really are!! Name calling is for those with very low self esteem and bye calling you names is their way of building themselves up. Don't listen anymore!! Tell them to blow off; that you are a lady and demand to be treated like one. Get up off the floor and start living. God loves you and rely on him; talk to him, He will show you what to do if you listen. You must listen though. Best of everything to you honey!! Wish I could talk to you personally. Please get back into school & talk to your counselor because they can help also.

Yeah life can suck. But trust me, it WILL get better. I once tried to kill myself, and later learned how great life can be, and was amazed, frightened, that I considered ending it.
