yes i am a Christian. The Lord has always been there for me, in happy times and in the worst situations of my life. I am a sinner - we all are - and nothing we do in this world will ever be able to justify our sins. And inspite of this, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice, to die so that our sins will be washed away. He rose from the dead so that we can have everlasting life. What is important is not of this world but eternity.. Where would you want to spend it? Jesus is real and He is living!

I am Roman Catholic. However I have often thought about dying and finding out that there is, nothing else. I wouldn't be surprised by this, although maybe a little sad.
However, I wouldn't really care what religion is right. I think that religion in and of itself is a source of Hope. Religion gives us purpose in our lives, and even if your an atheist you believe in nothing, which is something of itself.
I think that people pick the religion that works best for them in the environment that they live in, that will add the most positive light in their lives. You have to ask yourself: without whatever it is that you believe in, would you be whole? Whether or not their is anything out there, we feel safe because of what we choose to believe in.
Roman Catholicism works for me. God just happens to be my best friend.

Am I a follower of Christ, yes.Is it because Heavenly Father was willing to send his Son here to die for my salvation, that's part of it. I have seen the blessing that come from following the scriptures, not only in my own life but in families life as well. I have also been on the other side of the fence. Raised in a Christian home I still turned away and I felt so empty, as if I was missing something. I started acting out, drinking, having sex, etc. trying to find something to fill the void, but nothing worked. It was when I started studying the scriptures and seeking out my Heavenly Father once again, and following his teachings that my life got better. No one will ever convince me that it is pointless or stupid to follow someone that I can't see, because not only have I felt his presence in my life, but I have seen his blessings. And that is why today I am a follower of Christ.

But WHICH "Christianity"?
A few years ago "The World Christian Encyclopedia" noted the existence of over 30,800 different denominations of Christianity, of which "the fastest growing ones have no ties whatsoever to traditional Christianity".

I'm not, because I felt that the religion was much too close-minded. I don't see anything sinful in thinking differently, looking different, or being anything other than straight. That was the big one. I don't have a problem with the religion itself or its followers, but I really hate the ones that use it as an excuse to harrass or hurt others. That's really all there is to it.

Yes. Most definitely.
Because Jesus existed, and still does, that's for sure. So many people have seen Him, including myself and people I have known. Jesus is God. If Jesus had never left Heaven and come to earth, then there would be no proof of God's existence. That's why He came down here so we would know He is real. Prophecy, Manuscripts, Archeology, and Statistical Probability all prove that the Bible is accurate and reliable, and that Jesus is who He said He is.

No I am not a Christian because I don't understand your God "Trinity", also many Christians are hypocrites, or most of who I met, by claiming they are good Christians but not following the Bible. They only follow the parts they want, and hide the parts they don't like.

First off, nice backwords smiley.
No. I'm not a Christian because I don't like what the Bible promotes, I don't believe we need a savior, I don't believe God is a he, I don't believe Jesus preformed miracles, and I don't believe we can call something man-made, like a book, closer to God than some other book.

I could never be a Christian. I just have too much common sense and I really enjoy thinking for myself. I could never allow myself to be led around by the nose the way the Jesus freaks do.

No. I was raised Catholic, and my mother is Catholic and father is Jewish. I personally believe that it is not important to focus on the details of religion and I believe that it is more important to simply live a life focused helping other people and bringing them together. Therefore I abide to no organized religion and I just try to go about loving my neighbor.
