So this guy and I went to HS together. Within the last year we became friends again (due to a mutual). I'm now living in the area he's in and he's commented many a time that he's interested in me for some time. So we did dinner a week or so ago, he picked me up, paid. We had a great time. He suggested dinner after I got off work a week later (we waited b/c of conflicting schedules). He text me that day saying he forget when I got off, and ended up going back home instead (45 min away). So ended the night. I was pissed b/c I felt stood up and pointed that out to him. He apologized saying it wasn't his intent and it was his error and he wanted to make it up to me this week. I haven't bothered to respond. Do I give him another shot or move on to the next?

Give him another chance. People are only human, and they make mistakes every so often. It's tempting to think that you are the center of a guy's universe, but usually you will only be just one part of the rest of his life.

Of course, if he stands you up again (after promising to make it up to you), then he's sending you the clear message that he's not interested, and you should move on immediately.

Give him another shot. Things come up, and sometimes people have really bad days, and stress can make people forget things completly. He apologized and he seems really interested in going out with you. So dont' blow him off. Try to be understanding and give him another chance. He's interested, it just sounds like he had a bad day like everybody has from time to time.

Hope i helped ^_^

its a bit odd. I would say give him another chance unless there is some other odd stuff you are not mentioning. I would think if he REALLY wanted to see you, he would have driven the 45 minutes :)
