So we've been friends for a while and the guy has told me he's into me. Asks me randomly in passing to come to FL with him, but apparently he asks everyone. Then mentions something about hanging out and going to dinner. He picks me up, pays for everything, we have a great time. But there's no kiss. He called me that night and the next day to say he had a great time and we should do it again later in the week. My one friend who 'doesn't date' told me to challk it up to just hanging out. I think it sounds like a date personally, but in an age of not dating, who knows. Thoughts?

I think you're over thinking it. It was what it was. Don't stress over putting a label on it. Just enjoy the ride.

If he asked you to dinner, picked you up, and paid, I would definitely consider it a date. A lot of people don't kiss on the first date. :)

If he paid- it was a date. Don't kiss at first really, hugs are nice. Everyone loves a good hug! It was a date, your friend's dumb.

It was a date but maybe he was too nervous to call it such. He defiantly likes you and if you like him.. make a move..
