I decided when i was an early teenager that I never wanted to be tied to someone else. I like my freedom. I like to be able to do things spontaneously.
This doesn't mean that I am totally alone. I have a small circle of very close Friends. I have lovers. I'm happy.

For some it is a freedom issue. others are just too nervous. others just never get the picture of how to actually treat women and make it last. Some may have health issue and mental. who knows? ask a person who is a 40 year old unmarried virgin.

Some people feel that life is much easier without an extra person or an extra opinion. When your single, you only have to answer to yourself and not worry about others as much as you do when your not with someone. Being single allows you to do whatever you please without any approval or commitment. This is the main reason why so many people act up when their young and when they get older they want to settle down.
On the otherhand, some people are perfectionist and only want the best, and if they cant find the best, then theyd rather be alone.

complete freedom sounds the most reasonable, but other than they feel they dont want to be hurt since the cheating rate is so high nowadays, or maybe they just simply choose to live alone, nothing wrong with not getting married, people are just different

Because they work for AT&T... the phone co. pretty much ate up my life when I was there. I worked all different shifts, 4-midnight, 12-8pm, 6-2pm etc.
Then there was lots of overtime, 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week etc. I guess it was a good thing I wasn't married and had kids.

No. Some will get married, have a long engagement, or are still looking for the right person. Hope this helps!

The primary reason of getting married is you're looking for someone who can complete you, but others feel that they are complete so they don't bother looking for the missing piece.

some people just might not like being tied down, or having someone to sort of 'report to'. i'm not sayin this means they want to run around and have sex with everything, or that they are scared of committment (which is a possibility), but some people simply like making decisions based on what they alone want
