Is that Providence, RI?

I doubt that anyone here put aside his or her faith after reading an atheist's 'testimony'. I certainly didn't. At age 9 I retired for all time my belief in the existence of a god after having read the KJV--the violence, the genocide, the slaughter of the innocent, the burning to death a daughter, selling daughters into slavery, human sacrifice, stoning to death a wayward child, such as that. It was clear to me then, as it is today, that this was a god gone crackers.

Yes I was a born again Christian before spending time in the R & S category of yahoo answers. Reading and watching the attitudes of the Christians vs the Wiccans truly turned me away from Christianity. Of course there are times I doubt my decision but more and more I realize how nasty most Christians are to their fellow human beings and that removes all doubt.

No, but some of the things people on here say only reinforce my Atheist beliefs and give me more of an argument for why Atheism isn't a bad choice.

I don't know if the "Christians" have succeeded yet, but they do make a good case for atheism.
