How can i reformat my mini dvd so that it can be recordable in my cam?

Question

when i formatted it in the pc the dvdcam does not recgonize it and it even cannot format it in vr or vf mode.
It worked fine when formatted in the dvd cam
I want to use it record video in my cam.

I used a new 8cm dvd and formatted it in my pc.
later on i wanted to use it in my dvd camcoder but it doesnot recognize and even it doesnt format it completely. I can still use it in my pc but cannot use it in my dvd camcorder. i have hitach dvd cam.

You'll have to use the appropraite software that encodes the video so that the cam can decode it. You aren't very helpful in your description, so that's really all I can offer you help on.

try using your camera to reformat disk,if it can be erased,make sure of kind of disk,not all are recordable.
