I love it! Titaninum is a really strong metal, so its less likely to bend/break/scratch. My husband's band is titanium which is great because he works with his hands and was likely to break it :)

It's okay, I'm not a huge titanium ring fan.
I'd probably do just a titanium wedding band, but a regular engagement ring, but that's just me.
My best friend and her husband (my other best friend) did titanium, and I thought it was funny, and very fitting for them.
The setting of the stone on the ring you like doesn't spark my fancy, but really, what does that matter? If you like it, go for it!
Congratulations!

I don't think so. I mean it looks cool for right now but later on in life when you need to resize it you will probably run into some problems. Most women need to resize their rings at least once in their lifetime if not more.
Otherwise titanium is one of the most durable metals out there and require little to no maitenance. I do like the fact that it's low profile so you don't have to worry about the stone catching on something or falling out as much as you would with a traditional solitare.

it looks cool~
just so you know..
Can Titanium be reiszed?
A: Because of this unique nature, re-sizing these rings is nearly impossible; therefore, great care must be taken when sizing your finger. It is possible to slightly increase a titanium ring's size by removing a small amount of material from the inside surface, but it isn't possible to make it smaller.

I love tension settings, it's so pretty, I don't know how suitable tension rings are for engagement rings, check with the jeweller, it looks pretty delicate and I'd worry about losing the stone. As for titanium, it's a hardy metal, I don't know how well it resists scratching though.

Very nice!!!!!
It's different. I think when it comes down to engagement rings and wedding bands, it really is a personal choice. Because what you might like someone else may not! I know this has happened to me. I hated my friends ring as it looked absolutely massive and it was definitely all bling bling (big mula $$$$$ too). But I was polite and said it was nice! She absolutely love it!
Different tastes are better than having the same ring as everybody else!
Good Luck with your choices!!!!

All that matters is that you like it. My only concern is that titanium rings can't be sized. They either fit or they don't which could be a problem if you have kids.

I think that the design is simple but very nice. From what I heard, titanium lasts a long time just like you lovebirds should enjoy...a lifetime of happiness :-)

Tension set rings are not good for a person who uses his hands a lot at work. The stones come loose and that sucks- it happened to me. I'd get one with the stone set right in the metal.

I think that you would end up being unhappy. You will have much difficulty in finding a wedding ring to go with it. It's also very wide to be shared with a wedding ring.
