Dramatic film shot has revealed that British troops in Afghanistan are told to leave heroin-producing opium crops untouched - contradicting Government claims it is committed to wiping out the drug.

The footage shows soldiers fighting the Taliban in a field of opium poppies.

One admits he wants to throw a grenade into "their beloved" plants, but says he would get "the telling-off of a lifetime".

We were told many years ago that the CIA were heavily involved in flying coke and heroin all around the world. Most people poopooed the idea and called the watchdogs loony lefties or conspiracy theorists, then we were told that Unocal (Cheney) wanted to build an oil pipeline across Afghanistan but the Taliban said no.......the rightwing fruitcakes said we were all wearing tin foil hats and were blowing smoke out our @ ss......then we all said theyre going into Afghanistan so Cheney can build his oil pipeline, again they called us loonies and commies. Then more of us said they were gonna secure more poppies for the white boy heroin dealers in the US but again they resorted to dismissing the facts. But the truth has a sneaky way of always making itself known, thanx for posting this link.

The British & American troops main job is to destroy MUSLIM FUNDAMENTALIST TERRORISTS, doing the weeding in the "locals" gardens is secondary, if at all on their things to do list.

Are the British Taxpayer willing to pay the Afghanis farmers compensation to grow another crop other than poppies??
