I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed last Thursday & after that my cheeks were all puffed up, swollen. As of right now my right cheek is less swollen than my left one, but I still can't eat hard, solid foods, or drink out of a straw. I've had to miss 3 days of work because of this, & it's my first job actually & I've been working there for less than a week, & I don't wanna have to miss too many more days. Anything I could do to reduce the swelling & make my cheeks look & feel normal again?, how long did it take for your cheeks to heal?

It depends how good your body is healing. Just sleep alot to get lots of rest.

As far as a time frame, I was pretty much out for 10 days or so. I had 5 wisdom teeth somehow, so my bottom left side had to be cut open bigger.

But if you feel ok like you can go to work, go ahead with puffy cheeks. I've seen people get the surgery done, and come back to work the next day looking like a chipmunk. But it didnt bother them, and they were able to do their work fine.

Its just up to how your body responds to it, and how you feel. Just take it lightly if you do go back to work, and you should be ok. Although I dont recommend taking the drugs while at work, they do tend to make you a little woozy.

Hello sweetie I know the feeling. this is what you do. get a half a cup of warm water pour two capfuls of peroxide into the water. rinse your mouth swishing the water around, for as long as you can stand it.continue until the cup is empty. do it twice a day. in a day or two you'll be able to return to work. always spit water out after rinsing. you'll be as good as new. its the soreness and infection, thats makes it hard to chew.the peroxide will pull it out.
