cats are very independent, so either pet him, or sit him down gently. I would try petting him first. You'd be suprised how calming cats are.

You could punch it in it's little head, that always works for me. Unless it's that death cat. Then you might as well do "other things" to it.

If you don't like cats of your alergic GENTLY put it on the ground. And if you like it you can pet it!
