What does it mean when your slowly sliding down a giant, steep embankment into turbulent or black water. It's a reoccuring dream a few times a year.

Water stands for emotion.
Sliding down a steep embankment = loss of control in something/you are being driven into something against your will.
Turbulent/Black Water = deep buried emotions of a traumatic nature are being faced here.
