I just took my son off the bottle, I haven't given him a bottle all day long, he's 2 1/2 years old, so it's something that I needed to do. He already uses regular cups to drink liquids, but he wont drink milk from one, and if he does drink, it wont be much. He does eat cereal in a bowl, and I know he takes some milk that way.
My question is, since most likely I wont get him to drink a whole glass of milk, which foods can I give him that will provide him with everything that milk has?
Also, which vitamins are best for a child his age? I've never given him any type, so I have no idea where to start.
Thank you in advance for all your opinions! God bless!

Please do not make any comments about how old he is, and that he shouldn't be drinking a bottle anymore, it was my choice to do so, and don't need or want any type of criticism. I just want information on foods.

try soy milk, its better than milk and kids love it plus it comes in different flavors. For calcium, go with broccoli and give him some dressing to dip it in, make it fun. Any dark leafy green foods should help out with the calcium

any milk based food will give most of the same nutrients as milk. yogurt is a great source. and as for fluid milk just keep your foot down on the issue no matter what and he'll soon learn if he wants his milk he has to drink it like a big boy. but be prepared for some tantrums.

Yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, smoothies all have dairy. Smoothies can be made with frozen fruit, yogurt, and milk and blended. He will think it is a treat. Add a banana for potassium.
