I've been Wiccan for fourteen years and teaching for the last six or so, but I'm honestly not up to playing Twenty Questions tonight. Best of luck to you, though, and perhaps I'll catch you some other time.

What I will leave you with are some website recommendations.

A relatively objective (non-Wiccan) set of articles on what Wiccans do and believe:

Another useful article:

A good site by Wiccans:

And the US Army Chaplains Handbook excerpt on Wicca:

You might also find the Wiccan forums over at Beliefnet.com helpful:

If you're looking to do some reading, I'd recommend "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham, and "The Triumph of the Moon" by Ronald Hutton. I advise you to stay away from anything by Silver Ravenwolf, for reasons outlined in the following essay:

If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me.

not Wiccan, and hadn't observed a greater than prevalent inhabitants of Wiccans on the instant. i've got self belief wonderful approximately Wiccans being right here; the Christians (like me) and the atheists have too a great number of the run of the situation; we want you and the others to rein us in and remind us there is greater to R&S than merely us. :)

the spirit world is just recovering from a war... nature vs religion... what people don't understand is that for 2000 yrs every person capable of natural spirituality has been murdered and the civilizations and societies destroyed by the church.... thinks like crusades, inquistions, burning of witches and heretics have done great damage to the pool of spiritual information... we have no real teachers left and in a sense we are all beginners..... the many things that represent nature are still damaged (spiritual communication unclear) by the war... things like the trees, the oceans, and the stones would have difficulty in guiding us right now... but fire is a great one to work with... he is strong, intelligent and because he is new everytime he is lit he doens't carry the confusion or the baggage of the war..... here's how to call upon him.... light a candle, speak with it... as in meditation or thought conversation.... you could do him a great favor before putting him out... tell him to join himself in the spirit... for he's the one who lives without physical presence.... now you are beginning not far from me.... good luck.

I can't help but notice the irony between your claim to being Wiccan and a screenname like "I hate you".

Just an observation.

Wicca is a religion. It's a choice. It doesn't run in families. It's not a genetic abnormality.
