A size ten (10) will barely fit through a large Night crawler. A 14, I wouldn't even try. The bigger the number, the smaller the hook.

I think it is extremely small. Size 6 is a normal hook. Size 4 is a little bigger. Size 10 is the smallest I've ever seen.
