I suggest you read the book "Real Magic" by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. It's a self improvement book about finding happiness and prosperity in life through positive thinking.

If you have the money or insurance coverage, you should see a psychiatrist for professional care. Perhaps medication is the answer. Good Luck!

Can you talk to your parents? A counselor?

How long has this gone on? Does it interfere with the way you usually live your life?

The second website has all manner of help if you do find out you're depressed. They can find help for you, drs., info, even a message board for questions. It's a top-notch site. I visit every day. I have chronic depression myself.

Depression, esp in young people, is fairly easy to control. You may have to try more than one med before you find one that makes you feel normal again, but the odds are high that you will.

Honestly, see a doctor. I went through depression for several years during middle school, high school, and the first part of college. Then I finally saw a doctor and it turned out to be a medical issue. Now it's under control. I later found out my mom has the same problem but never talked to me about it. She's been on medication for her depression for years but I never would have guessed.
