It is clear to those who study the Bible seriously that Jesus talked about hell more than heaven.

Is Jesus a liar? NO WAY!!

Some people want to know if flames in hell and/or the lake of fire are real. My reply is: WHO CARES? Why go there if it can be avoided????

Right?

Your view on hell and the lake???

P.S. In the book of Revelation, the Bible teaches that hell and hades will be BOTH cast into the lake of fire. So, this tells me that hell and hades will NOT be the final place where the unsaved will end up. The lake of fire is the FINAL non-ending punishment waiting for those who refused to accept the great sacrifice of Jesus and what He did for us on the cross.

Have you ever relaxed in a rocking chair? You go back and forth and make a lot of movement but in the end you only end up back at the same place to find you never really went anywhere. You will find it is the same with the Bible. Read it all you want. Will you ever get beyond the simple confusion and inner turmoil you have afterword? It all gets you to have faith and on that you must use your intuition to its best to try to divine some form of meaning beyond the simple fear tactic that gets you to return to Jesus as a little babe so as to avoid all that supposed lake of fire. It is a good tactic. It works. Now what are you worried about...

Would a loving God throw people (children & others), who never had the opportunity nor the choice to believe in Him, such as those in the Communist countries like China and Vietnam - perhaps India - into a "ever-burning" "Lake of Fire" ? What about all those, who died before Jesus Christ came to the earth the first time and was crucified? Will a loving God fire them up too ?
I think, that most Christians need to read the Bible as God intended it to be read. Too many, are too quick to condemn others who have never had the chance nor the choice to be drawn to God for a relationship with Him. (see: John, chapter 6, verse 44). God would never eternally burn anyone who never had the opportunity to have a spiritual relationship with Him. By the way, "hell" can be translated from the original Greek language, from the Greek word "hades", which means "grave" or "a hole in the ground". No where can it be found to mean an ever-burning fire. No - Jesus isn't a liar but you sure have some bad theology that you are throwing around. In the Book of Revelation, it is better translated as both, death and the grave will be thrown into the Lake of fire. Check it out !!!
