Ok personally I think the religion is stupid Ex. L. Ron. Hubbard was a science FICTION writer and wats with the alien crap. they call it a religion? thats a shame to be called. big shame. calling fiction stories a religion. BTW, Tom Cruise is an assface and katie holmes is gullible :)

Yes, but L Ron Hubbard wrote Scientology as a religion, a fictional religion to make money, sure, but a religion nonetheless. People who believe in Scientology are more often not insecure in themselves. It's not until they've given away a lot of money that they get to the level that speaks about aliens, after their lives have changed and their money is gone. It's just too embarassing to quit then. The book most people read first, Dianetics doesn't talk about that alien stuff.
As for Tom Cruise and other celebrities joining the Church of Scientology. Celebs have a special place in Scientology, they are basically worshiped. To Cruise, it's the Church of Cruise, to John Doe, it's Dianetics and maybe later Lord Xenu.

It's a Hollywood religion. Stars are too good to go to mainstream churchs. They need the bigger and better Scientology church. Did you hear that Tom told his wife to be quiet while giving birth because his religion told him it may harm the baby to hear mom cry?!
