Oh that list could go on and on...for starters:
"Because I said so"...sometimes you just run out of answers and patience and that is what pops out. I definately said that I would never say that.
"Quit crying or I'll give you something to cry about." When the whining for no reason has worn my patience thin.
Oh the list is long, suddenly alot of childhood makes sense. LOL

I said I was never going to read any parenting books...I was just going to wing it. HA, I can start a library with how many parenting books I currently own!

"I'll give you something to cry about" is it for me. When I heard that come out of my mouth I knew that I had turned into my parents.

My mom always said "Try one bite." I ate some terrible things! Luckily my daughter will eat almost anything.
I also like "because i said so."
I told myself i am not going to be as strict as my mom. It's amazing how quickly you turn into your mother! Face expressions and all!

I said Id never let my kids wear tshirts, jackets, shoes, etc that had cartoon characters on them. I thought they were cheesey. Haha...when thats all they want to wear, its hard to say no. lol

Comparing them to their friends.
Actually, I've only done it to one child, to be honest. I've said "Can you even IMAGINE (insert friend's name here) doing anything like this?"
I hated it when I was a child.
