Try the fishing section, you will get a better response. If I were to fish for brown trout Id use a fly rod and a wet fly, color would depend on the water clarity.

Try a size 2 gold Blue Fox spinner, the kind with a naked treble hook. I've been calling it "trout hunting" for years because I take the hunting attitude when I sneak up creeks hiding from the trout that are waiting for a minnow to swim by.
