I was like that when I was a teen, but I was in a really bad accident in my 2000 Mustang Cobra. I Died, but the where able to bring me back. If it was not for my friend that I was racing, I would not be here now.

The thrill of adrenaline hits me when I go into a corner at speeds over 80 mph. sideways with cars in front, in back and alongside of me. This happens twice a lap for twenty laps or more. I do it every Saturday and the best parts are it's legal and I don't have to worry about hurting somebody that doesn't know that they're racing.

No, there are not any serious street racers out there:
Serious –adjective
1. of, showing, or characterized by deep thought
2. of grave or somber disposition, character, or manner
3. being in earnest; sincere; not trifling
4. requiring thought, concentration, or application
5. weighty or important
Real racing is about driver skill and who is the fastest driver - such racing could involve many applications of the term "serious."
Street racing is simply about unskilled drivers in cars that are already too fast for the driver's poor skils (even in the case of underpowered cars) competing to see who is more idiotic in their willingness to press to speeds that endanger others around them. Street racing is the Special Olympics of autoracing... only without the skill, athleticism, and intelligence that is present at the Special Olympics.

I used to do that years ago but I quit once my daughter was born. Now I go to the dragstrip. It's alot funner.
Now I have a lot of trophys and stuff instead of tickets and dead friends.
Street racing is for people who are afraid to run against the clocks to see how slow there car really is in the 1/4 mile.

we had a strip we would cruise locally. about 6 miles or so. we would sit in parking lots and bs about cars and women. i raced a fox body mustang 5.0 lx coupe.. 10.30's on vortech supercharged 347 stroker motor. that was a few tears ago.if we raced it was in cars and drive to a local backroad we all raced at. it was marked off at 1/4 mile. we would line the 2 cars up and every body else lined up on sides of roads and watched. there was a starter with a flashlight and when turned off we took off....be fast though so cops wouldnt catch us. hell, i met my wife cruisin that strip. fun times and made a lot of friends. only loss was to a 66 big block chevelle with a big shot n.o.s. system. after i loss by a nose i asked to run motor to motor no supercharger and no nitros and he refused. my small block pony wouldve ate up big block motor, but i took it like a man..lost $100.00 dollars and we went back to lot and b.s some more. greatest times of my life was cruisin. man i miss it.. 5.0 foxbody mustangs were fun and cheap to build...

One can only hope that you stuff yourself into a telephone pole real soon so that no people who actually have a brain and something to contribute to society, get hurt.
