I need religious disciples/mentors to talk to. HELP!?

Question

I'd like to have a few Christian/religious/spiritual disciples/mentors, people who are strong in faith and informed to talk to, because I'm pretty much shaky and new to it, and want to develop a strong relationship with God. I need to learn and have many questions, and I'm hoping someone out there can be of some assistance?

Also, if there are any websites that you guys can direct me to that would be great too. I can do my own research, reading, etc, but I also have questions which I guess only the experienced can help too.

This is hard work guys, I didn't think it would be, but it is.

off subject but, it's so funny the other day I was driving past a mall, which was clogged/crowded and polluted, with swarms of people walking around, and I drove by a church, and it was empty except for 3 cars. This saddened me :-(

Anyways, It's an up-hill battle and I need some help!

Giving our lives to Jesus Christ is an uphill battle because we have to listen to what the sinners say about God, and most of it is evil talk. They blasphemy His name, and say bad things about Him.
I know what God can do. He has stepped in and rescued me from evil so many times. He saved my children from murderers, bullies, and near death accidents. I know, in my heart that God is real. We have to pray hard for the ones who try to destroy our beliefs.
It is sad that not very many people go to church anymore, and those who do, really are God fearing people. They are the true believers.
It is even sadder when people ask you about the Lord, and what your thoughts are, then after you answer them, all they can do is put you down. I don't care what people think, I will talk about, pray to, and uphold Jesus Christ until the day He calls me home.
We have to be good to everyone, love everyone, and help all who need help. Even those who treat us badly afterwards.
God bless you and don't give up. Go to a pastor and talk to him. Or better yet, find a quiet place by yourself, and read God's words, The Bible.

Just a piece of advice..This is something that you have to work on slowly. You are as a newborn baby..u must crawl before you can walk and you can be led in the wrong direction. there will be ups and downs and you may get discouraged. The devil will try so very hard to lead you in the wrong direction. You must keep your faith and remember to pray and go to Church and hang around with Christians will help you to continue to live your life for god. Read the bible daily. You will began to understand it the more you read it. any question you may have...the answer is in the bible. Remember...we all sin, we must ask for forgiveness daily. A real good resource is www.e-sword.org where you can get a free computer bible program that has many resources also. Don't buy into anything man says without checking it out in the Bible first. Also, don't take things out of context. Get involved in a Church that teaches the Bible and not any particular doctrine or denominationl theory. But beware there are also many atheists and satanic people here who will try to snatch you out of God's hand. Being a Christian is not a cake walk. People will say mean things to you, tell lies about you and to you, and will try to convince you that you are ignorant for believing the truth of God. Trust God and what your heart tells you. You have made a first good step, by coming out and confessing that you are a believer. You are correct it is an uphill battle. These groups are a great opportunity to study God's word, share experiences and fellowship with other believers in a small and laid back setting.
