Just when you think you've seen all the damage religion can do, someone has to wig out and hurt the innocent. Religion. It sucks.

What a terrible way to die. The man performing the exorcism, most likely believed he was 'doing God a service,' but in reality, was either schitzophrenic, on some kind of drugs, thus hallucinating, or so caught up in some warped religious cult, that he really believed the girl was possessed. Whatever the case, why in the world was the girl's 19 year-old mother, who I assume is the man's daughter, in the room, naked and bloody? There was obviously something very sinister going on- maybe he'd performed an exorcism on her first, or raped her . . . or who the hell knows?
Religious hysteria leads to all kinds of unbelievable happenings, such as this case. What I want to know, is what in the world takes over someone's mind to the point where they try to strangle a child, in the name of exorcising so called demons? If there were any demons involved, they no doubt resided directly inside that man. By demons, I mean he was demented.

Look at that, Satan working once again through the Tazer and the police. Or maybe Satan is the police and God the Tazer, or could God be the man but then he couldn't be since he can't do anything since we have free will, but still follow God's plan. Since anything that happens always is said to be God's plan. So obviously this was God's plan, or maybe God is just a comedian and wanted a good laugh.
The funny thing on this is that the guy who was killed was Christian. That is awesome, another lunatic Christian showing the true nature of the religion and how backwards their minds are. At least it was a good end for the regular normal people who can think for themselves, that he was culled from the population.

Another gruesome situation. This one may have had a just outcome. Chalk it up to increasing levels of insanity in the human population; that no one wants to admit to or deal with. If you chalk it off to the way it is displayed, you miss the real essence of evil.

Doesn't even make sense. How does physical abuse get rid of a spiritual being? I guess that's why the woman was holding the "religious picture." We all know that ART is the bane of demons...
Foxtrot: True, but an exorcism IS related to religion and they HAVE been in practice...

And what was with the nudity? The other exorcisms I have read/heard about had no mention of people being naked. Was clothing holding the demons in or something?

No. Chalk another one up to ignorance. A trained minister would have told them there was nothing wrong with the child and to leave her alone.

Wow...
I hope that ever god-believing user of Y/A sees this and gives it serious thought...
It's time to stop spreading the nonsense of god as if it was good and as if it was worthwhile....
This is story is an example of what god belief can do... This is the truth... this is reality.
It's time to see the harm that belief in nonsense can cause.
God does not save...
God does not heal...
God does not help...
The idea of god makes fools of good people.

POST SCRIPT: Shame on you who have defended belief. It is belief that has given this poor man the excuse to act so badly upon an innocent child and it's mother. Shame on you who say he was merely insane... or he wasn't a true christian... or speak similar excuses to avoid the truth. And worst of all, shame on those who give praise to their gods for saving the child - what disgusting BS is that? - when it was belief in the same god that put the child's life at risk to begin with.
Shame on all of you who stand by your miserable gods....

First the man died due to be hit by a Taser because he was choking a 3 year old.
His death was due to the Taser.
This man was obviously not a Christian.
This sounds more like a Satanic cult to me.
