seands11, you made a good point.
But also, many people wonder why we don't speak out because they don't hear us. The media silences Muslims, and would never let us get our word out, unless it is degrading to Islam, which believe it or not, the media only puts uneducated Muslims or Muslims with distorted view on Islam on to further its agenda to undermine Islam. Many people wonder why we don't speak out; we DO, but the media does not allow for us to be heard, and it has obviously given the impression that Muslims condone terrorism, when they absolutely do not. The killing of any innocent and commiting suicide (terrorism and the like) are strictly forbidden in Islam, yet no one will get THAT impression, unfortunately...
Thank you for the link. I guess we Muslims will just have to prove we condemn terrorism the hard way, without being able to take advantage of the many benefits the media can offer, but purposely does not.
Animal Girl: I sincerely wish you good luck, and I am so proud that you saw throught the media's grand scheme..it takes a lot of dedication and non-ignorance (is there a word for that?) to do that. I will pray for you, and I hope that your parents will understand. I am not just saying "I will pray for you" because you are not Muslim as many Christians tell people because they are not Christian, but rather I am saying it because you actually have an interest in Islam, and you want to become Muslim. Do you know what I mean? I see many Christians telling atheists or non-Christians that they will pray for them that they will find Jesus when the people they are praying for do not want to be prayed for and are not asking for Jesus. But you want to be Muslim, so it is valid to say it now. Good luck! By the way, Jesus is a major prophet in Islam--did you know that?
As a Muslim, I stronly oppose terrorism. Thank you for the website, it is beautiful. It even encourages combating anti-Semitism. How graceful.

What is the difference between a Muslim that condemns terror and a Christian that condemns terror? In the hospital blown to bits a pieces I guess nothing. Unless the desire to live is not human I cant really comment. I have never known a Muslim to turn down a medic or ambulance ride to the hospital and I have never known a Christian to do so either. In the end, a Christian that puts down a Muslim is the same as a Muslim that puts down a Christian. We are trying to make the world a safe place where mankind can advance and enjoy being what he is. If he is a Muslim or a Christian but is not doing that then there is still lots of work to do.

When I see Muslims marching in the streets shouting down with Bin Laden, down with Hamas, down with Hezbollah, and down with extremists, then I will say they are fighting against extremism, but until then they do nothing, but have a speakers once in a while on TV, they say they are against it, and yet their Imams are quietly preaching extremism in their Mosques, here in the U.S. 25 % of the Muslim men in the U.S. believe it is ok to blow up innocent people, and if they keep preaching soon it will be 50%. They have to stop it at it's sorce in the Mosques and their whaco Imams. Their goal in reality in to take over the world. Frankely I am sick of hearing about Muslims, when I was a child and a teenager and young adult I never heard of a Muslim, They were a world away now their everywhere and I am sick of it. More keep coming here like they do in Europe and then when they get to a country with more freedom they stab you in the back just like in England, now they want to change England into an Islamic country, if they try it here in the U.S. all hell will break loose. Talk about blood running in the streets we will be knee deep in it. Don't trust them as far as I can spit. I know their are peace loving Mulsims but they are for the most part silent, because they are even afraid of the nuts that will also kill them.

I think it is not enough that you and me - we condemn terror and violence.
Edit: this man on the interview says: reforming the religion. I have to say that there is no reforming in Islam since we have to practice what we get from Allah (SWT). Reforming and making new rules and make it according to 21th century and make it "edible" for the non-muslims is a simple bidah.
We can not change even a single letter in Islam!

I'd say its a good start...but i never believed no Muslims speak out against it...just not alot, nor do high profile Muslim countries and Imams...i can commend Pakistan for its stance...but how about countries in the middle east...you have to admit there are more silent compliant Muslims than there are vocal anti-terrorist Muslims...

I think it's great but it will sadly be overlooked by the "Islam is evil" crowd. You could tell them but they'll probably claim you made that up or that it's too little too late.
Some things will never be different.
wow I didn't expect to get 2 thumbs UP! (yay)
Thanks Omer!

of course some will speak out... especially those who are in the movement to infiltrate the Western cultures. They are very aware of PC PR and make use of it at any opportunity... that does not in any way change the over-riding purpose of islam to dominate the entire world... if the so-called "moderate" muslims gain the control they seek you can be assured that the same law the so-called "extremist" muslims want to impose will be imposed by the so-called "moderates"... same goal just different methods...

I think it's absolutely wonderful and I wish more people would understand that. Right now, I have been considering converting to Islam (right now I'm a Christian) but my family are stuck on the media depiction of Islam and not the true beauty of Islam.
