If you plan to say something like 'I don't believe in reincarnation. Only sinners believe in reincarnation' don't even bother because it's been said about ten times (if not more) already.

Also, you won't get chosen as best answer if you do, because that is definately not a good answer at all.
Thanks.

Someone tiptoeing the edge between good & evil. One who means well with the best of intentions, but struggles to hold back his darker side from showing on occasion. Also very competitive, there's nothing worse than losing and the opponent is the enemy. Kind of like a Ty Cobb without the athleticism.

Well, I am not sure about re-incarnation, but whenever I do think about it, I imagine that I was in one or more lifetimes a dirt poor peasant.

The reason for this is because I have been fairly middle class my whole life. Even for the brief periods of financial difficulty in my adult life I have never been homeless of hungry.

Yet I have always felt so GREATFUL for this, and I mean in a way that someone who was impoverished for a long time, and then was rescued from impoverisment. I have NEVER taken it for granted !

Sometimes I think it is because perhaps I was dirt poor in previous incarnations, but then the other part of me says this stems from the fact that both my parents grew up in the depression, and told us numerous stories about growing up poor. In fact, my entire generation had heard all the stories that began with "when we were growing up we didn't have. . . "
So I suspect that my gratitude for my abundance, is just really second hand from my parents.

I'm always told I was a cat in a previous life because I'm so prissy but the Catholic faith teaches that there is no such thing as reincarnation, as much as I don't want to believe that's true, I have to since that's what I'm told.

I've always been me.
When we show up, the big mystery isn't
so much "Who am I," as it is, "Where
am I."

No one. I had no past life. Neither did you or anyone else. Notice how no one ever says, "Yes, I was a dfitch digger, then a prostitute, then I came to this life where I've made my mark as a WalMart greeter...."

I was God in an earlier life. That was three lives ago. Since then, I was Napoleon, and a jester in King Louis XIX's court.

I only get one shot at this life. Once I am dead I don't return.
