"I discovered that there were too many contradictions in Judaism and
at the same time I realised that Islam is the religion of truth and
wisdom," he said.

I do not belive that is real.
too many inconsistencys and simple untruths.
and the fact that nothing shows up for the name, (that would be a pretty big story... there would be something)
the link to yahoo is "mysteriously" broken...
I just see no readon to belive it. I see no reason to think its not entirely made up.
edit: the same article on several sites isn't really a big help, though only slightly improved.
its also pretty much meaningless. only shows that some people are simple minded and cannot deal with a remotely moderate position. so he moves from sociopathically zionist, to sociopathically muslim!
mentally ill people changing their religion does not mean a thing.
and one of the links, as Mark said, used the term "messianist" which is peculiar. and I wonder if what it REALLY means was messianic, which would explain *ALOT*. a fanatically zionist "messianic jew" being converted like that is *completley* belivable.

Not at all because, as with most of your ill-planned questions you have answered yourself. First, this guy initially converted to "Messianic Judaism" according to one of your sources. After that he converted to Islam. So:
1. He was spiritually unsettled to begin with, and
2. It's the exception which proves the rule. By your own implicit admission, with the exception of one or two people like this guy people do *not* convert from Judaism to Islam. Surprised???

There are many Jews and Arabs (Muslims & Christians) who get along. I have a friend who's Jewish and one who's Muslim (Lebanon). We often have dinner together. I also know of sites that don't agree with the regime in Israel such as nimn.org and jatonyc.org. This is coming from Jewish people, not me. So, no, I'm not surprised at all. People make friendships no matter what the media tells them.

If he was an "extremist" Jew he would never have gotten a tattoo in the first place. A lot of Palestinians convert to Judaism.

To bad he has been mislead. It sure isn't the religion of truth and wisdom. so what is your point, people change religions all the time. Their are also Christian Jews.
