A question to Jewish & Christian.

Do you think that Jesus's bloodline, the bloodline of David, stems back to Egypt, before the exodus?

Julia D, You are being defensive again, an 'informative' answer would have been better!

I am not religious, but i am interested in other people's belief and why people believe!
I find the study of the bible interesting.

I was actually trying to find out if the bloodline of Jesus 'does' stem back to Egypt, to see if 'the bloodline of kings', has a link to the pharoahs, way back, to the earliest 'Egyptian' kings.
There could be a possibility!?

Oldguy63 .... Thankyou for your informative answer, you obviously have a passion, for what you believe!

Terry .... I think you are right there, so there is a possibility, that the 'bloodline of kings' is related to the kings of Egypt!

Absolutely! It extends back to Adam, as recorded in the Bible.

Luke 3:23 Now Jesus Himself began [His ministry at] about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) [the] son of Joseph, [the son] of Heli, 24 [the son] of Matthat, [the son] of Levi, [the son] of Melchi, [the son] of Janna, [the son] of Joseph, 25 [the son] of Mattathiah, [the son] of Amos, [the son] of Nahum, [the son] of Esli, [the son] of Naggai, 26 [the son] of Maath, [the son] of Mattathiah, [the son] of Semei, [the son] of Joseph, [the son] of Judah, 27 [the son] of Joannas, [the son] of Rhesa, [the son] of Zerubbabel, [the son] of Shealtiel, [the son] of Neri, 28 [the son] of Melchi, [the son] of Addi, [the son] of Cosam, [the son] of Elmodam, [the son] of Er, 29 [the son] of Jose, [the son] of Eliezer, [the son] of Jorim, [the son] of Matthat, [the son] of Levi, 30 [the son] of Simeon, [the son] of Judah, [the son] of Joseph, [the son] of Jonan, [the son] of Eliakim, 31 [the son] of Melea, [the son] of Menan, [the son] of Mattathah, [the son] of Nathan, [the son] of David, 32 [the son] of Jesse, [the son] of Obed, [the son] of Boaz, [the son] of Salmon, [the son] of Nahshon, 33 [the son] of Amminadab, [the son] of Ram, [the son] of Hezron, [the son] of Perez, [the son] of Judah, 34 [the son] of Jacob, [the son] of Isaac, [the son] of Abraham, [the son] of Terah, [the son] of Nahor, 35 [the son] of Serug, [the son] of Reu, [the son] of Peleg, [the son] of Eber, [the son] of Shelah, 36 [the son] of Cainan, [the son] of Arphaxad, [the son] of Shem, [the son] of Noah, [the son] of Lamech, 37 [the son] of Methuselah, [the son] of Enoch, [the son] of Jared, [the son] of Mahalalel, [the son] of Cainan, 38 [the son] of Enos, [the son] of Seth, [the son] of Adam, [the son] of God.

All jews came from one of the twelve sons of Jacob, all of which went to egypt when there was a famine in Israel. The exodus happened many years after this, so yes the bloodline of Jesus can be traced back to egypt.

Yes, it goes all the way back I should know I think to Abram ??? But yes, it goes way way back. There is so much in the Bible I am discovering, like Joseph after he was sold by his brothers when he was about 17, he was sold to slave traders because he was his father's favorite and anyhow, it took him 27 years and it wasn't all good by any means to get to where God wanted him and created him to be to save the people from famine and forgive and love his brothers, so my trials didn't seem that bad and then poor ol' moses had to spend 40 years in the desert with all the million whiners when it was actually a 2 week trip ! How easy my trials seem now :)

Ah, so there is an excellent chance that Jesus carried the blood and genes of Ham as did the Egyptians.

Marianne: Egyptian Masters used Female Hebrew slaves sexually as all slave masters did and still do.

Just like tracing the blood line of Santa Claus back to the north pole. Or the Tooth Fairy's blood line back to Magical Happy Land.
